Background

When I started working with Dana Marie Roquemore, Founder of TDPP, she was eager to grow her engagement, following, and presence in Orlando. My plan : establish Dana as a tastemaker in her community. She knows the cool, new spot to get dinner. She has an incredible eye for interior decorating. She is a low-key mixologist. And, of course, she throws the best dinner party in Orlando. Note : all of this was already who Dana was. I just wanted to pull that personality to the forefront.

I look at my role with TDPP as half social media manager, half ghost writer. In the beginning, I got to know her so I could learn her voice. Once I had it, I could communicate like she would to our target audience, while naturally inserting her dinner party services. Copy came across more like a friend suggesting you join her drinks than an advertisement. Since working with TDPP, their new followers have gone from 30 to 300 a month.

Close to IMMERSE, posts saw over 150k impressions and over 45k engagements. Attendance for 2018’s event was over 60k.
